By Christopher Maffei: The American Economic War Against Helvetica!

Switzerland is a small country that has a state-of-the-art military — in the center of Europe. It is also relatively homogeneous and egalitarian and a prime target for Washington.

When looking objectively at American pressure on Switzerland, it will be never-ending. What needs to be clearly understood, Is America’s attack on Swiss banking is a counterinsurgency of constant tension and harassment.

In the last 13 years, Switzerland has tried to use appeasement to pacify the United States to no avail. In reality, the Swiss strategy of appeasement will have the opposite effect in pacifying American demands.

We can never forget when the US uses its puppet states to arrest Swiss citizens for (a false claim) to a crime. It does so with the intent of punishing Switzerland for its neutrality.

In other words, America is engaging in an economic war against Switzerland for having an independent foreign policy. In reality, this is a classic Wolfowitz assault against Swiss sovereignty dressed up as a tax compliance issue. Let me make this clear, tax compliance is not the goal — destroying Swiss sovereignty, is.

In fact, Washington is currently using the extraterritorial application of its laws to wage a low-intensity war against any country with an independent foreign policy — especially Switzerland. Even American citizens that disagree with American foreign policy are targets.

Snowden is the most notable.

One of the biggest misconceptions that have been communicated to me over the years, is many Swiss feel that Americans avoiding taxes is the issue. Or if they appease the US demands the underlying issues will just go away.

Far from this fantasy, the only thing that matters to the US is the application of military force in the future. We can never forget, the dumbshits in Washington do not care about tax revenue. And they most definitely do not care about positive bilateral relations — although they pretend that they do.

Having Switzerland in the US sphere of influence is the goal. What the United States really wants is for the Swiss to sign a mutual defense treaty, for NATO to have access to Swiss air space, and bring the Swiss into NATO, altogether.

And believe me when I tell you, we need to make sure that never happens.

As Henry Kissinger once said — “To be an enemy of the US is dangerous, but to be a friend is fatal”

As long as America exists in its current form. The constant American pressure of one baseless false claim after another will be never-ending. It doesn’t matter if the false claims are directed at Switzerland or any other country.

However…

…There is good news on the horizon.

The days of Switzerland being forced into a dying empire are now over.

The United States is in a deep military and social crisis. For Switzerland, the easiest course of action is to do nothing and ignore the bullying. Let America collapse on its own and let the American people deal with Washington. As of now, Washington has control over the western media, and that influence is quickly evaporating. Every center of power is collapsing for the United States and there is nothing that can be done to arrest the collapse.

In fact, after the defeat in Afghanistan, Washington lost control of central Asia. And the China-brokered peace deal between Iran and Saudi Arabia is bringing an end to the dollar as the world reserve currency. Most importantly, this brings an end to Washington’s influence in the middle east.

But the question becomes, why is the United States losing its power so rapidly? For the United States to have unipolar power. It needs to be able to project military force so that it can control the global oil trade in Central Asia and on the Sea.

When Russia started the special military operations on the Donbas. They started a high-intensity conflict with combined arms elements. What needs to be clear, the United States can not fight combined-arms wars any longer.

As of now, the United States is only provisioned to fight low-intensity conflicts like in Afghanistan or Iraq. And even when they were, the United States was defeated in both theaters.

Therefore, due to Russia’s war on the Donbass, the mask has been lifted and we are confronted with a dying American Imperium that needs to learn how to manage its collapse more readily — stop pretending it’s the world hegemon.

Some say that America can simply adjust to the reality of combined arms conflict and redress the balance of power. It would take 10 years and trillions of dollars. By then, it’s too late. Therefore, in regards to uni-power the United States is staring defeat in the face.

To redress the balance of power there would also need to be an American draft. This is completely out of the question. At no point in American military history has conscripts benefited the American military establishment. A draft would most likely tear the United States apart. Russia knows this is the case and this is precisely why the Joint Chiefs of Staff will never ask for conscription — short of mainland invasion.

For Switzerland, by the end of the decade, the United States will not be viewed the same way it is now. It will have been hollowed out and just a shell of what it once was.

Finally — Switzerland will need to hold strong and ignore the provocations from America.

In the end, there will be a new security arrangement in Europe that will look much like the BRICS. In reality, the vast majority of Americans don’t have the perception they are in a dying empire.

In truth, America is just another North American power at this point. And we all need to get used to the new world. In many ways, it’s a dangerous time and a time for new beginnings. Also, many people will be leaving America to explore the new reality and escape the expanding American poverty.

Either way, the American Empire is over.
