The American Low-Intensity War Against Switzerland

By: Christopher Maffei

Switzerland is a small country that has a state-of-the-art military and is in the center of Europe. It is also relatively homogeneous and egalitarian.

When looking objectively at US pressure on Switzerland, is that it will be never-ending. What needs to be clearly understood, Is America’s attack on Swiss industry helps with US military objectives. A strategy of constant tension and harassment.

In the last 11 years, Switzerland has tried to use appeasement to pacify the United States to no avail, In reality, the Swiss strategy of appeasement will have the opposite effect in pacifying US demands. Appeasement will encourage the United States to be more aggressive. For example, when the US uses its puppet states to arrest Swiss citizens for “a claim” to a crime. It does so with the intent of punishing Switzerland and its people for its neutrality. A psychological low-intensity war that is against Switzerland for having a foreign policy that is independent of the United States.

When reading Swiss perceptions of the situation, many Swiss diplomats feel that if they can just negotiate with the United States. Or, if they concede to US disclosure demands, the United States will end bilateral pressure and leave them alone.

Never.

In fact, It is currently using the extraterritorial application of its laws to wage a low-intensity war against any country with an independent foreign policy – especially Switzerland. Even American citizens that disagree with American foreign policy are targets. Snowden is the most notable.

One of the biggest misconceptions that have been communicated to me over the years, is many Swiss feel that Americans avoiding taxes is the issue. Or if they appease the US demands the underlying issues will just go away.

Far from this fantasy, the only thing that matters to the US is the application of military force in the future. The United States does not care about money. And they most definitely do not care about positive bilateral relations – although they pretend that they do.

Having Switzerland in the US sphere of influence is the goal. What the United States really wants is for the Swiss to sign a Mutual Defense Treaty. Then, US pressure will end. This is where the real danger begins.

Switzerland needs to be neutral and independent, always.
