Christopher Maffei: China Defending the American Urban Poor

By: Christopher Maffei

This is a continuing series on the threat to US National Security posed by the US Courts.

Looking out onto the landscape of American Foreign Policy is Yang Jiechi. The Central Commissioner for Foreign Affairs in China. Yang’s daughter, Alice Yang, graduated from Yale and he attended the University of Bath.

This background would suggest that Yang would have pro-western sentiments. Nothing could be further from the truth. Yang’s presence at the U.S.-China Summit in Anchorage, Alaska would be a continuation of the ongoing humiliation of the United States in Sino foreign affairs.

Of course, The Holy Grail of Chinese foreign policy would be to repatriate Taiwan. By military force if necessary. In the end, Hong Kong, the South China Sea, and trade are minor foreign policy issues that simply add to the totality of the Taiwan issue.

The US policy of “Deliberate Ambiguity” with Taiwan is due to the fact that any military conflict with China would need American public support. Yang Jiechi, had no illusions. On March 18, 2021, Jiechi gave this statement to the U.S.-China Summit in Anchorage:

On human rights, we hope that the United States will do better on human rights. China has made steady progress in human rights, and the fact is that there are many problems within the United States regarding human rights, which is admitted by the U.S. itself as well. The United States has also said that countries can’t rely on force in today’s world to resolve the challenges we face. And it is a failure to use various means to topple the so-called authoritarian states. And the challenges facing the United States in human rights are deep-seated. They did not just emerge over the past four years, such as Black Lives Matter. It did not come up only recently. So we do hope that for our two countries, it’s important that we manage our respective affairs well instead of deflecting the blame on somebody else in this world

After Yang gave Blinken both barrels.

It is clear to both sides, that China understands that the destabilizing effects of the United States Courts on American society have damaged national cohesion. In fact, it has damaged national cohesion to the point that a Chinese Diplomat can indirectly insinuate to the defense community that American public support over Taiwan is not likely.

Obviously, that is why “Strategic Ambiguity” is US policy for Taiwan and why the United States court’s cruelty to its citizens is a threat to US national security.

For example, when the George Floyd riots were at their peak in the summer of 2020. Both, Chengdu J-20‘s and Xi’an JH-7 bombers made a record 380 incursions into Taiwan’s (ADIZ) Air Defence Identification Zone. Testing response times, and most importantly testing the United States’ resolve during a time of serious social and internal conflict.

If there is no American reaction— this is in fact, a reaction. It communicates to the (PLA) People’s Liberation Army that threats will go unanswered. It also communicates to the Russian and Iranian defense communities that America’s ability to mobilize has been compromised.

This was written by a former cabinet member within the Reagan Administration and even though I don’t agree with the language here is what he said:

In the United States, the most patriotic elements of the American population are regarded by FBI Director Wray, a Trump appointee, as “domestic extremists,” “enemies of democracy,” and “the greatest threat to America.” Trump’s FBI director is searching for those who attended “Trump’s insurrection,” rounding them up and building prosecutions against them. With the largest part of the American patriotic population demonized by their own government, who is going to stand up for Washington against China, Russia, and Iran?

The emotionally and mentally weak woke idiots who writhe in agony if a person uses a gender pronoun? The transgendered freaks who are unable to accept their natural gender? The feminist who hates men? The blacks whose claim “I am offended” can collapse an American University and global corporations. Try to imagine such an army confronting the Russian, Chinese, and Iranian military. Not a person in the world would give odds on American success.

Alone, the PLA would be annihilated by the United States. However, if Russia, in a classified agreement with China, moved into Ukraine, and at the same time, China was advancing into Taiwan. The United States would have to come to the table or use nuclear weapons. Either way, that would be the moment the United States would collapse as a world hegemon.

In fact, this state of affairs may already be a foregone conclusion. At the time of this writing, both China and Russia are posturing to do just that. If the media reports are even slightly accurate. There are currently 6 Russian divisions on the eastern Ukrainian border at the jump-off points. Including both Russian armor and airborne divisions.

If given the command to proceed, these divisions would easily smash through the thinly held lines of the Ukrainian Army. Then, within 48 hours, these forces would push all the way to the Polish frontier. Backed by Russian strategic rocket forces, Russia would annihilate any opposing forces within its axis of advance. As with Crimea, there is nothing that the United States could do to stop these forces.

Adding to this, simultaneously, China could very easily start a campaign in Taiwan. PLA would easly take the island. Any other prediction is just a fantasy.

Now the United States has a decision to make. Use nuclear weapons or accept the situation? The brutality of the US Courts towards its population has effectively guaranteed public support will not be available to military planners. Therefore, forced conscription will be almost impossible.

As the military planners in both China and Russia look out over the landscape of American National cohesion. They understand, simply threatening military action against US interests is enough to end US posturing.

For example, just the presents of the Russian armor on the Ukrainian frontier is enough to have the sycophants in Washington drop dead of a heart attack. They know any advance by Russin armor cannot be stopped. The humiliation to American power will be unredeemable. How can Russia with an economy the size of California’s GDP humiliate the Pentagon? But there it is.

If that’s not enough, Yang Jiechi will simply lecture Blinken on the brutality of the US courts directed at their citizens.

As Blinken sits in silent acceptance of Yang’s words, any of the Secretary Of States’ words to the contrary is simply a slap in the face. A slap in the face to all the black families in the United States that have lost loved ones to law enforcement criminal brutality.

There Blinken sits. Silent. Defeated by the hypocritical moral pose of a Chinese diplomat.

But wait, it gets even better for China, when Jiechi is not busy fighting for the civil rights of the American urban and rural poor. He is telling Washington to go FUCK themselves.

This is China’s response to the South China Sea, more or less:

The arbitration unilaterally initiated by the Philippines is a political farce under the cloak of law. The so-called ruling of the arbitration will not change the history and reality of China’s sovereignty over the South China Sea islands and the adjacent waters. China will not accept or acknowledge the arbitration whatever its so-called “ruling” might be. The Chinese government does not accept or participate in such arbitration. China’s position can be summarized as 4-NOs, No Acceptance, No Participation, No Recognition, and No Implementation.

If the US Courts and the yuppies from Yale and Harvard Yard can not stabilize a cohesive society the defense community must consider different options
