At this moment, the United States is in a technical state of war with Russia. Therefore, the United States controls what you perceive as reality in the media. In Germany, this was called the omnipotent government or the total state. These systems of media control can be traced back to the ideas of 1914. As some of you may know, I have written about this before. However, what we have not talked about are the dangers this represents to humanity at this point in history.
Given the fact, a technical state of war exists between Russia, the United States, and China. The media will no longer be an open forum for ideas, life, and culture. It will be heavily censored and it will only communicate a positive narrative to the organizing principles of War. To meet this end, the ‘total state’ will humanize their acts and dehumanize anything opposing the driving principles of conflict
For example, in one absurd narrative; in a 1941 Berlin periodical. It glowingly reported, in occupied Poland, German authorities had put Jews to work, built clean hospitals, set up soup kitchens for Jews, and provided them with newspapers and vocational training. Of course, this sounds a bit spooky because it may seem somewhat familiar to us.
In the periodical example, it’s easy to reflect in hindsight that the false statement of Jews being treated humanely in Poland was easy to understand. However, in the present, it’s much more difficult to identify when you’re caught up in the moment. Much like today.
To the current conflict, this will apply to subjects relating to the war against Russia. To meet this end, the media will never communicate a positive narrative about Russian military gains– ever. The media by dehumanizing the Russian people and mocking them for their incompetence will help sway public consciousness to a euphoria of hate.
The best we can hope for are independent journalists that can fight through the system. Even then, there will be confusion about authenticity.
At this moment, the media is communicating a narrative of utter Russian military incompetence. For most people, there is a deep psychological need to believe in this narrative as the scepter of nuclear annihilation looms over all our heads. When in reality the media will never communicate the truth about what is happening in Ukraine. This is precisely why there are so many bizarre contradictions that do not reflect military reality.
For example, if the media was objective they would communicate both the positive and negative aspects of what is an objective reality. Instead, we do not see a shred of objectivity regarding the Russian question.
This creates a situation where western Humanity can be lulled into a false sense of security and overconfidence. That through groupthink, nuclear war with Russia may be winnable.
Mutually assured destruction is not winnable. There are only different degrees of losing.
Every negative monologue against the president of Russia brings us all one step closer to the end of Western Society. The ones that do not die in the primary nuclear event will exist in a highly contaminated world. A world In which people will be starving and dying from a myriad of bizarre diseases. It will be a medieval society where many human advancements will be lost. In the end, we may damage the ecosystem in a way that it may be inhospitable to human life.
For f-ck sake — We need to recognize Russia’s security concerns and de-escalate.
